K04 Turbo Upgrade
The AMT K04 upgrade for the 1.8T longitudinal engine. The kit comprises a Borg Warner K04, Revo Technik or GIAC software, gaskets. Other parts may include larger MAF and larger injectors. Installed as a virtual plug and play kit without any modifications, the kit retains oem appearance for those customers that expect nothing less than a stock looking car.
We have kept this kit as simple as possible to be able to bring an entry level product that will produce a significant increase in Horsepower and Torque.
Stage 1 you can expect an increase of 70kw over stock. The kit is flexible so that other modifications may be made to better suit your needs and driving style, performance is dependent on whether you have drive by wire or non drive by wire.
Software forms an essential component to the kit, allowing each car to be specifically tailored to suit the particular engine control unit. Delivering more power whilst retaining oem characteristics.
Enhancements to this upgrade may include a GFB diverter valve, front mount intercooler and full flow exhaust system. The kit is suitable for both manual and auto transmissions.
